You know those days when you get into a completely creative and excited mood to such an extent that you believe you could literally move mountains if you made an effort to? Yeah. That. Today's one of those days. Where I woke up like any other person would but got smacked in the face by a whole lot of inspiration in the middle of my day. So now that we've gotten that cleared out, I present to you the outcome of all that inspiration- BRICOLEUR. For those wondering 'what it means' and possibly 'why it sounds like a chronic disease' it's actually a French word that stands for someone who starts building something with no clear plan, adding bits here and there, cobbling together. which is the definition of this blog (literally). BRICOLEUR is about going with the flow and expressing yourself in all ways possible. Something that is - sadly - not exactly possible in real life. With the amount of judgement and finger-pointing its basically like anything and everything you say will be held against you. So naturally what people like me and you would do is not say anything at all. An anonymous personality is the most intriguing thing I've ever heard of- being able to express yourself without any restrictions? without being judged? Without being pointed at? Nothings ever sounded better than that. Especially for a person like me- with a lot to say. Bringing myself back to the quote: “Just one big idea. One big idea, and we can change the world.", I believe that one day, we'll all wake up with a big idea just that its up to us to do something about it or just push it to the back of our minds like all the other things we've thrown back there. You know what I'm talking about. those great ideas that just surface at the least expected time and make you think and think and eventually you think about it so much that it becomes the most irrelevant thing and you convince yourself- its just not possible or its never going to work out. Don't worry your not really alone. I'm guilty of it too. Bricoleur is my commitment to stop throwing away those ideas and just share them- whatever become of them.
In conclusion-
I don't know you, You don't know me. But they say that people cross paths for a reason. Too cheesy? Anyway I really think that everyone should share their way of doing things and their beliefs because that is the most special thing about us humans- none of us are exactly the same in anyway possible including our thought process and ideas. And for once if we all tried listening to each other we'd gain more knowledge than we already have. So here's to self-expression and open-ears.
